Reunion Committee at Work

These pictures show the Reunion Committee members hard at work planning for the 50th Reunion in October 2013. The group started planning the reunion in May 2012 with informal discussions that led to organized group meetings. Vernon Kajikawa leads the committee. Members were assigned tasks to research - Sandra Ohara and Vince Lee: banquet; Dennis Sugihara: t-shirts; ULS campus tour: Vern Kajikawa; bowling: Ricky AuHoy; luncheon and photographer: Sue Ann Lau; registration: John Chong; finances: Howard Yoshiura. Fay Yoshida graciously makes her home available for the meetings. Miles Nakashima joins the meetings via Skype with the assistance of Ricky AuHoy.

October 2013 Final Committee Meeting

The final meeting for the reunion committee was held on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Fay Yamashita (Yoshida) home. Final coordination for each reunion activity was discussed and decisions made to ensure that the reunion will be a great success!

Meeting participants were: Vernon Kajikawa, John Chong, Sue Ann Cheong (Lau), Fay Yamashita (Yoshida), Dennis Sugihara, Howard Yoshiura, Carolyn Watanabe (Adler), Vincent Lee, Sandra Aoki (Ohara), Ricky AuHoy, and Miles Nakashima (via Skype).
